Who Am I? The short answer is - a father, husband, Real Estate Investor, and 3rd generation Realtor®.

The long answer takes us quite a ways back, to the early 1990's. I was around 5 years old when my Dad and Grandma became Realtors®, and I can vividly remember them studying together at our kitchen table in preparation for their required exams. From that point on, real estate has been a constant in my life and a strong interest of mine. I recall my Dad receiving pages (on an actual pager LOL) to call clients; tagging along to showings, open houses, or his office; and flipping through the MLS book before I was even out of grade school (yes, before the internet - the local real estate board would produce a book each month with all the listings that were on the market, and as a buyer, you had to ask an agent for a copy of the book if you wanted to see the available listings). Suffice to say, a career in real estate always seemed inevitable.

Fast forward 10-15 years, and it was at the age of 23 that I decided the time was right to start my career. I signed up for the OREA Real Estate College program late in 2010 and on October 1, 2011 - I became a licensed Realtor®. Choosing a real estate brokerage to work for was an easy task, I went where my Dad, Grandma, and Step Mom worked - Buckingham Realty (Windsor) Ltd! Buckingham Realty is an established, local realty brokerage with great leadership, support staff and experienced agents, and was a fantastic place for me to start my real estate career. Of course, I always had what I consider to be an unfair advantage in my Dad, Step Mom and Grandma - no matter what the situation was, anytime I called to ask how to handle a situation or with questions that I would have, I always knew I was getting the best advice possible.

Over the next 9 years I gained valuable experience and honed my skills as a Realtor®. I went from selling just a few homes my first year to being one of the top producing agents for Buckingham over the last few years. During that time, I also became immersed in the niche of real estate investing. Shortly after I earned my real estate license in 2011, I purchased my first home - a duplex. I very quickly realized the benefits that investment properties can provide and set out to learn as much as I possibly could - from the different types of investment and growth strategies to property management, LTB/RTA intricacies, and everything in between. I've since purchased 4 more rental properties personally, as well as helped numerous investors (both local and out of town, as well as experienced and inexperienced) expand their real estate portfolios and plan for the future.

In 2020, I made the difficult choice to change brokerages. I was in the middle of the highest producing year of my career, and was very happy working at Buckingham. However, an opportunity came up at newly opened brokerage that was too good to pass up, and I decided it was time to make a move. On September 1, 2020 - I joined the team at Re/Max Capital Diamond Realty. With the power of the most recognizable brand in real estate, I produced over 5.9 Million dollars for the year and helped over 35 families and investors buy, sell, and invest in real estate. 2021 has started out even busier, and I can't wait to see what the rest of the year brings.

I live in Essex with my wife, Mandi, and our two children - Payton and Jaxson. I hope this introduction helps you to understand who I am and how much I love real estate. I am so honored to be at a point in my career where I am working with clients for the 2nd and 3rd times. The repeat business and referrals mean the world to me and there is no way to describe how thankful I am to each and every one of my clients. If there is anything regarding real estate that I can help with - whether you're looking to buy or sell, invest, if you have questions about the market or the value of your home, or even if you just want to talk about real estate in general - please do not ever hesitate to reach out. I am more than happy to assist in any way that I can, with no pressure or commitments necessary.
